Koh Phangan:


Situated in the Gulf of Thailand, 30 minutes by express ferry from the holiday island of Koh Samui, its little sister Koh Phangan offers a natural tropical setting: coconut trees on white sand beaches, a crystal clear sea, colorful coral reefs, spectacular waterfalls, green jungle and unspoiled mountains.

Koh Phangan has a land area of 193 km² with a permanent population of about 15,000. Benefiting from good weather most of the year round, the island provides a wide variety of activities (including swimming, snorkeling and diving; fishing, sailing and surfing; hiking, mountain biking and motorcycling; yoga and spas) to create a special island experience.

Koh Phangan is increasingly attracting higher quality development, and its real estate prices have been rising strongly in recent years. Nevertheless, Koh Phangan's land prices are still low relative to Koh Samui and other vacation locales, providing in our view significant appreciation potential.


Thung Wae Laen Beach and Chumphon:

Thung Wae Laen Beach is an "excellent beach with a superb hotel" (Fodor's) that is a "growing resort and diving area" (Frommer's). In addition to the beach and sea, there are spectacular corals at nearby reefs and the island dotted waters make for exciting sailing.

Chumphon is a town of 50,000 with friendly people, that is a transportation hub and a departure point for Koh Tao. It has an attractive evening market, and offers white water rafting and jungle excursions.

Koh Tao:

Koh Tao is a beautiful island and a diving center. Land ownership and use in Koh Tao is subject to significant restrictions.
